What is MCAS?
MCAS (My Child At School) is an online platform we use to monitor and record student behaviour and attendance. It helps us keep track of student progress and ensure a positive learning environment.
How We Use MCAS:
Behaviour: Positive and negative behaviours are logged, giving us a clear picture of each student’s conduct. This helps us support students in maintaining good behaviour and recognising their achievements.
Parents and students can access MCAS to stay informed about attendance and behaviour records, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
Attendance
We use My Child At School to manage attendance. Parents must use it to report daily absences (with the child’s details and reason), notify the school about illness, and log planned absences such as medical appointments. Requests for leave of absence are also submitted through the school, while unauthorised absences (including holidays in term time) are not approved.
